Teen Shot in SW Houston

13 year old Alexis Wiley, a student at Houston ISD's Johnston Middle School, was shot in a hit & run accident on late Wednesday March 3, 2010 after leaving a high school basketball game. Her mothe who is a Texas Southern Univ. Police officer attempted to obtain the the suspects, Richard Calderon, license plate number. Once doing this she passed him, but Calderon pursued the officer in an attempt to stop. He then opened fired in the back of the officer's vehicle. In the official report he stated that he saw something shiny being pointed out of the window, that's why he shot. Thursday morning the staff at Memorial Hermann were no longer able to treat the victim due to her injuries in she dies, All that bullshit set aside Calderon was arrested and and charged with the murder. Unfortunately he was able to post a $50K bond and was released.
